Wany Robotics has developed a solution to enable autonomous cleaning robots to really perform and self manage their battery level. No human intervention is required. The robot is able to find and reach the docking station when it needs energy, and to go back to the spot it left in order to finish the house cleaning work once it has recharged. The docking station solution combined with efficient path planning and mapping ensures that the entire room has been cleaned in all cases including tricky situations. The cost of hardware needed to perform the docking station location is around one USD.
